Cook Logic is an independent site about kitchen gear: induction cooking, cookware, kettles, rice cookers and kitchenware still made in the USA. We’ve been publishing guides since 2016.
How we research products
We don’t test products hands-on, and we don’t pretend to. Every guide on this site is built from research:
- Manufacturer specifications and manuals. Wattage, materials, dimensions, coil sizes, error codes, warranty terms and country of manufacture come from the maker’s own published documents wherever possible.
- Regulatory and standards documents. For safety topics such as lead in ceramics or PFAS in non-stick coatings, we go to the regulator or the law itself rather than repeating marketing claims.
- Patterns in owner feedback. We read a wide range of owner reviews and questions to spot recurring strengths and problems, and we describe them in general terms. We don’t invent quotes or testimonials.
Where a manufacturer doesn’t publish something, we say so rather than guess. Each guide explains how it was researched and lists its main sources.
Some of our older guides were written before we adopted this approach. We’re rewriting them to this standard, starting with the most-read ones; until a guide has been updated, treat it as older content.
Keeping guides current
Products get discontinued and specifications change. When we update a guide we check that each product is still sold and replace anything that isn’t. The date at the top of each guide shows when it was last updated.
How the site is funded
Cook Logic is reader-supported. Some links on the site are affiliate links, including Amazon links. As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases. If you buy through one of these links we may earn a small commission, at no extra cost to you. Commissions don’t decide which products we include or how we describe them.
