The Best White Induction Cooktops Reviewed

Finding a white induction cooktop is strangely very difficult, chances are you are reading this because you have failed to find anywhere selling them. There seems to be a total lack of supply in the United States for white induction cooktops despite there seemingly being quite a large demand for them. At the time of writing I could only find 2 on Amazon.com, and one of them seems to be permanently out of stock. Readers in the UK have quite a few options, click here to skip to the items available in the UK.

1. Morning Star MS-151 Induction Cooktop, Portable Countertop Burner

Ok so first things first with this one, it isn’t actually listed as being white. It states it is silver but it looks pretty white to us. Check it out for yourself and see what you think! Anyway this is actually a really nice unit if you are looking for a plugin induction cook top.

It has a really slim and modern design and a nice touch based control system right on top of the device. Of course you get all the benefits of induction cooking here, instant heat, energy saving auto shut off for safety and the great even cooking that induction provides.

This unit offers great control with a range of 140 degrees Fahrenheit – 460 degrees Fahrenheit and 15 Levels of Power Ranging from 100W-1500W. It has an inbuilt timer that goes up to 4 hours and it has a child safety lock system.

2. Nuwave pro 1800 watt highest powered Induction cook top with case white diamond

So this is the one that is always out of stock. At the time of writing it is yet again currently unavailable. I would keep checking back if you want this one as it is likely to sell out fast with white options being so thin on the ground and of course with it being the very popular Nuwave range.

It doesn’t look as sleek as the Morning Star to us but it comes with a lot more options and is much more programmable. You can change the temperature in 5-degree increments from 100 to 575 degrees and it has 6 pre programmed settings for every day cooking tasks.

If you wanted to give up on your hunt for a white device and get this one in black then it is available here, plus we have done a full review of it here.

Other options available

The UK has plenty of options in white induction cooking for some reason so UK readers have a few to choose from. It may be worth contacting the sellers to see if they can send you one to the US.

1. Whirlpool ACM 808/BA/WH Built-In Induction White Hob

What I love about this one is that it has a huge “flexi cooking zone” on the right hand side of the unit. It doesn’t limit you to using pans of specific size like normal rings do. This makes it incredibly versatile.

Like all induction we have the fast acting instant heat, no waiting for the hob to warm up like traditional electric cooktops. This one also comes with a one touch booster button that sends max power to the cooktop for a set period of time. Induction cooking is already fast but with this there really is no messing about.

All the expected safety features are here too. Child lock as well as the extra safety you get from induction. The hob only activates if there is a pan on the cook top.

It looks a little off white in the picture but the manufacturer have confirmed that it is white and Whirlpool are such a huge manufacturer that we are taking their word for it!

2. BEJUBLAD Induction hob with bridge function

Another lovely item from another huge company, Ikea. Ikea products are not to be dismissed, they are extremely reliable and you get 5 year warranties with them as well.

This is arguably even more versatile the Whirlpool. While at first glance it has 4 standard rings of varying size you can actually combine 2 of them into 1 large cooking zone giving you the benefits of 4 rings and 1 large zone.

It has tocuh screen controls right on top of the unit that work with a slide to control the power. It has an inbuilt timer too which you can set for the individual rings. Again like the Whirlpool it has a power boost feature for rapid cooking tasks like boiling water or searing meat.

It has a child lock feature which requires a 4 second button press to activate and deactivate.

Check it out on Ikea here. For some reason this model is available on the US Ikea store but not currently in white.

3. Gorenje IT65KR Induction Hob White Glass Ceramic Design by Karim Rashid

This one has a rather strange design to it but we quite like it.

It has a timer, touch controls and a 5 year warranty on parts and labor. There isn’t really much more information available on this one at Amazon but you can view the full spec at the manufacturers website here.

  • Aluminium side edges
  • Touch control
  • Timer function
  • PowerBoost function
  • AllBoost

Conclusion

So what gives America! Why so few options! Maybe I am missing something here but I spent a few days looking all over the web and really struggled to find any US suppliers offering white cooktops in the induction range. If you aren’t nothered about induction then there are loads to choose from, you can click here to see a huge list of them available at Amazon. It’s a similar story everywhere you go really. Check out Walmarts options here, loads of them, just not induction.

I found it strange that the UK had more options here as induction cooking is really only just starting to become popular there. It has been mainstream for much longer here in the US.

If you know of anywhere that is selling them in American then please leave a comment below or send us an email here and let us know and we will add the info to our post above.
